Weber Avenue,Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> SUBJECT: Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation,Tracy Army Depot, Tracy,CA <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: <br /> On behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency,DDJC-Sharpe Environmental Management,URS will <br /> be drilling and constructing one additional groundwater monitoring well as part of the on-going <br /> remediation effort at the Tracy Army Depot. The well to be installed is north of the Depot,within <br /> government property on the Tracy Annex, immediately north of Groundwater Treatment Plant#2. <br /> This well has already been approved by the RWQCB (Marcus Pierce). <br /> As I discussed with you this week, we will be using existing County permit number 0031116. <br /> Drilling is tentatively scheduled to begin on January 12, 2004. Sarah Tourre of URS will be the field <br /> supervisor, and she will keep you informed of any schedule changes and progress.
