The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board will submit their comments under separate cover and will do so for all future submittals. <br /> The Remedial Design Workplan is designed to detail and/or describe the requirements of <br /> the design data collection effort and to provide an overall approach to remedial design, action and <br /> ultimately close out at 14 Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMUs) with soil contamination <br /> requiring remedial action. The selected remedies include soil vapor extraction, excavation, and <br /> institutional controls. Operable Unit 1, the contaminated groundwater plume, is being remediated <br /> through groundwater extraction, treatment and re-injection.
