Work Plan for Well Abandonment(Work Plan' The Work Plan identified wells MWR-6, MWR-7, and MWR-13 located in the River Islands Development to be abandoned. Wells MWR-6 and MWR-7 are designated for water level monitoring in accordance with Order R5-2016-0028. Wells MWR-6 and MWR-13 were identified as damaged and proposed for abandonment in the Survey Report and Destruction Plan submitted by City. There is no planned recycled water Use Area located near W MIWR-7, s a replacement well is not necessary at this time. Conditional Approval In general, the Survey Report and Destruction Plan contains the requested information and the proposed plans and well abandonment is appropriate. The Survey Report and Destruction Plan is therefore approved subject to the following conditions: 1. All Monitoring wells proposed for abandonment, including those wells proposed in the Work Plan submitted by ENGEO, Inc., shall be abandoned in accordance with.the Monitoring Well Abandonment Workplan included in Attachment A of the Survey Report and Destruction Plan and in accordance with San Joaquin County Well Standards. 2. Any drilling mud or cuttings from the drilling operations may be buried on-site in accordance with the conditions of Regional Water Board Resolution No. R5-2003-0008, if they are dried and free of additives and known wastes.
