ADDRONAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> CITY OF LATHROP WASTEWATER PLANT NO. 2 <br /> LATHROP, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 1. Provide a complete description of the project for each phase which describes the number of <br /> residences served,planned industrial wastewater discharges, and construction schedule. <br /> Summarize the residence/business construction, the wastewater treatment system construction, the <br /> land application area acquisition and development, and the collection system construction schedule <br /> in a Gantt Chart. <br /> 2. Provide a description of the following: <br /> a. The relationship between the City of Lathrop, future area builders, individual homeowners, <br /> commercial/industrial dischargers; and the entity responsible for operation and maintenance of <br /> the wastewater treatment facility; <br /> b. The relationship between the entity responsible for wastewater treatment and the entity <br /> controlling facilities where wastewater will be reclaimed; <br /> c. The roles and responsibilities of each with respect to future facility operation and <br /> maintenance; <br /> d. Whether a public entity will assume responsibility for the facility; and <br /> e. Financial means that ensures adequate and appropriate funding and personnel will be available <br /> for proper operation and maintenance; and that sufficient land application areas will remain <br /> available. <br /> 3. The 23 May 2001 RWD provided estimates of wastewater quality, please provide additional detail <br /> on the source of the wastewater. Describe the wastewater generation as related to the phased <br /> development. The description shall include: <br /> a. How many homes will be served,the number of bedrooms in each home. <br /> b. Types of businesses that will be served by the system, will industrial wastewater be discharged <br /> to the system? <br /> 4. Description of all anticipated industrial or commercial dischargers, including the following: <br /> a. Name; <br /> b. Industry/business type; <br /> c. Nature of waste stream; <br /> d. Average daily flow(gpd and percentage of total plant loading); <br /> e. Peak daily flow; <br /> f. Average daily BOD loading (lb/day and percentage of total plant loading); <br /> g. Peak daily BOD loading; <br /> h. Nature of seasonal or diurnal variations in influent flow or quality, if any; and <br /> i. Pre-treatment or self-monitoring programs, if any. <br /> 5. Provide chemical characterization of the potable water supply including pH, hardness, alkalinity, <br /> and a complete ion scan with anion/cation balance. Discuss water softening and other water <br /> treatment processes that will be needed and the relationship between water supply treatment and <br /> wastewater treatment plant effluent quality. <br />
