MONITORING AND REPORTO PROGRAM • <br /> CITY OF MANTECA <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY -3- <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Station Frequency <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/l R-1, R-2, R-3, Weekly* <br /> R-4 <br /> pH pH Units R-1, R-2, Weekly* <br /> Turbidity Turbidity R-1, R-2 Weekly* <br /> Units <br /> Temperature °F (C°) R-1, R-2 Weekly* <br /> Chlorine Residual mg/l R-1, R-2 Weekly* <br /> Total Nitrogen mg/l R-1, R-2 Weekly* <br /> * Samples shall be collected weekly from 1 May through 31 October and every two <br /> weeks for the remainder of the year. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> At least one monitoring well shall be located upgradient of the wastewater irri- <br /> gation area. Other monitoring wells shall be located downgradient of irrigated <br /> areas under the direction of the Board's staff. Prior to construction, plans and <br /> specifications for ground water monitoring wells shall be submitted to Board staff <br /> for review and approval . These wells shall be monitored for the following: <br /> Type of <br /> Constituents Units Sample Frequency <br /> COD mg/l Grab Monthly <br /> PH pH Units Grab Monthly <br /> Nitrate mg/l Grab Monthly <br /> Total Dissolved mg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Solids <br /> SOIL PROFILE MONITORING <br /> Once per year soil profile samples shall be obtained from the two- and six-foot <br /> depths. Sample locations shall be chosen under direction of the Board's staff. <br /> Samples shall be obtained from the wastewater irrigation area. Samples shall be <br /> analyzed for the following: <br /> Constituents Units <br /> pH pH Units <br /> Nitrate mg/l <br /> Total Nitrogen mg/l <br /> Heavy Metals mg/kg <br />
