1
1
' During the period May 17 and 18, 2005, three Phase 1 monitoring wells were
installed at the MBR WWTP site. Figure 3 is a scaled site map showing the
wastewater treatment plant storage facilities, new and previously existing
' monitoring wells, and major physical and man-made features. Table 2 lists the
new and previously existing MBR WWTP Phase 1 monitoring wells plotted in
Figure 3 and reports their current status.
' Table 2. During all phases of well construction and development, inspections
' were made as required by the County.
Drilling Equipment and Techniques
' All wells were drilled employing a 10-inch hollow-stem auger. The boreholes
were drilled to a depth of about 21 feet below land surface, with the exception of
the following four wells.
The borehole for MWM-9 was drilled to 31 feet in an attempt to intercept
thigher yielding sediments and improve potential well yield.
' 9 Woodward Drilling, Rio Vista, CA, 707-374-4300 (Driller's name was Amador); installed
monitoring wells MW-12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, and 25.
10 Cascade Drilling, Rancho Cordova, CA, 916-638-1169 (Driller's name was Tony); installed
MWM-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 19.
11 Water Development Company(WDC), Zamora, CA, 1-800-873-1169 (Driller's name was
' Jared); installed MWM-9 and MBR-1, 2, and 3.
1
