However, <br /> the Professional Geologist hand augered to five-feet for collection <br /> of some of the soil gas samples. The samples were collected by <br /> pushing a steel rod into the ground and connecting the rod to an <br /> evacuated Summa canister. The hand augered holes were then <br /> grouted after the soil gas probe was withdrawn. All sampling was <br /> conducted during one day.
