Installation of DMW-5B, screened <br /> from approximately 70 to 75 ft bgs and constructed with conductor casing, was proposed in a work plan submitted to <br /> the water board. The water board approved the plan and requested that a second well be installed to 40 ft bgs (named <br /> DMW-5A, because it will be co-located with the deeper well but screened in the "A"-zone sand). A work plan was not <br /> prepared for this well, but it will be installed using hollow-stem augers in an 8-inch diameter boring,similar to the other <br /> wells at this site.
