One monitoring wells is proposed north of well MW-29 and one <br /> monitoring well is proposed east of well MW-29; a third monitoring well and the soil <br /> borings are proposed off-site in the City of Stockton Right-of-Way within the sidewalk <br /> area on the west side of Harrison Street. <br /> The scope of work will include the following tasks.- <br /> 0 <br /> asks:• Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Advancement of soil borings for collection of grab groundwater samples; <br /> • Sample analysis; <br /> • Soil boring abandonment; <br /> • Pilot soil boring advancement; <br /> • Monitoring well installation, development and survey,- <br /> * <br /> urvey;• Collection of monitoring well groundwater samples; <br /> • Sample analysis; and <br /> • Report preparation. <br /> 3.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK PREPARATIONS <br /> Applicable sj. assessment permits will be obtained from the SJCEHD and <br /> encroachment permits will be obtained from the City_of Stockton_-ublic- Works <br /> Department. <br /> In addition, a site specific health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities <br /> _ (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard <br /> and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1985). <br /> s Prior to mobilization, each soil probe and pilot boring will be clearly marked and a utility <br /> clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. The SJCEHD will be contacted <br /> - at least 48 hours prior to conducting any field work. � <br /> 3.2. SOIL PROBE BORING AND SAMPLING <br /> AGE proposes to advance three or four (3-4) soil probe borings for collection of <br /> groundwater samples, utilizing direct push drilling technology to define the lateral down- <br /> gradient extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impact to HU2 groundwater.
