Outside behind the mini mart are two black 55 gallon drums with a blank faded hazardous waste label. None of the required label items for a container of hazardous waste were legible. According to the records on site a L1 87 stp sump fuel alarm occurred on 6-28-11. This waste was generated approximately ten months ago. Eddie Sandhu confirmed that the liquid was removed from the sump and placed in the hazardous waste drum behind the mini mart to be managed as a hazardous waste. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name and address of generator 3. hazardous properties 4. physical state 5. composition (contents) 6. accumulation start date During the inspection completed hazardous waste labels with the start date of 6-28-11 were affixed to the two drums of hazardous waste liquid. Continue to ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 5-24-12. 9999. Eddie Sandhu confirmed that he inspects the drums of hazardous waste only when he needs to add something to it. The last time was 6-28-11. Nor is there documentation on site to show how often ALL END STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
