Installation of 3 monitoring well(MVS clusters,each cluster comprised of 2 MWs screened <br /> at different depths in the area of the former UST in the north area. These MWs are <br /> necessary to define the vertical and horizontal extents of the contamination in groundwater. <br /> 3. Installation of 2 monitoring wells to the south of the former UST No.3 area to determine <br /> lateral extent of the contamination in groundwater: <br /> 4. Analyze soil and water samples for BTEX,oxygenates,gas and diesel. Analyze soil samples <br /> for physiochemical properties and bionumberation to determine viability of natural <br /> attenuation as a potential remediation alternative. <br /> 5. One 24 hour constant rate pump test at 4 gallons per minute in the UST No.3 area. One 8- <br /> hour variable rate pump test and subsequently a 24-hour constant rate pump test(based on <br /> the results of the 8-hour pump test) in the former UST area to the north. Data is necessary <br /> for evaluation of aquifer characteristics,contaminant movement in groundwater,and <br /> feasibiliryof remediation alternatives. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1.
