The vertical extent of <br /> the groundwater contamination at the old tank area has not been defined below 60 feet bsg. <br /> The southern extent of the contamination in groundwater at the area also has not been fully <br /> defined. Additional work to define the extent of the contamination is required. <br /> MTBE continues to be detected in the groundwater of the deepest well MW-9 (screened <br /> from 40 feet to 45 feet bsg) of the new tank area (the tanks were removed in 1998).
