Soil from the north end of the excavation at 14 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg) and the stockpiles exhibited odor and discoloration. The highest <br /> concentration in analytical results of the soil samples were Sample I.D. "TK2 North" at <br /> 988 parts per million (ppm) Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon as Gasoline, 0.08 ppm <br /> Benzene, 1.20 ppm Toluene, 4.20 ppm Ethyl-Benzene, and 5.80 ppm Xylenes. <br /> Analytical results also indicated the presence of lead at concentrations ranging from 15 <br /> to 39 ppm in all soil samples with the exception of"TK1 North" and "TK1 South". <br /> The above referenced site is currently assigned to the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) UST Local Oversight <br /> Program (LOP), Site Code 1065, for oversight of assessment and clean up activities at <br /> contaminated underground tank sites.
