Site Code: 1065 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (PHS/EHD) has recently <br /> reviewed activities to date at the above mentioned site and has the following <br /> comments: <br /> -As per telephone conversation between Michael Collins, REHS, of PHS/EHD <br /> and Tony Martin of Kleinfelder, a letter addendum will be submitted to <br /> PHS/EHD by 7/8/94 for the construction of additional monitoring wells to <br /> define the extent of soil and groundwater contamination. Also a plan for <br /> additional overexcavation of the open pit will be submitted. <br /> -Samples submitted for analysis from the overexcavation shall be submitted <br /> to a state certified lab for the following analyses: <br /> -TPH-gasoline (EPA Method 8015M/5030) <br /> -TPH Kerosene (EPA Method 3540/3550) <br /> -BTEX (EPA Method 8020/602) <br /> -Oil and Grease (EPA Method 418.1) <br /> -Samples submitted for analysis from the monitoring well construction <br /> shall be submitted to a state certified lab for the following analyses: <br /> -TPH gasoline (EPA Method 8015M/5030) <br /> -BTEX (EPA Method 8020/602) <br /> -During monitoring well construction, a minimum of 3 samples (one every 5 <br /> feet from the last 15 feet above groundwater) shall be submitted for <br /> analysis. <br /> If'there are any questions please contact Michael Collins, REHS, at 299-468-0338. <br /> Donna Heran, REHS, Director <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Michael Collins, REHS Di ne M. inson, REHS <br /> Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor <br /> MC <br /> cc: CVRWQCB-Elizabeth Thayer <br /> cc: Kleinfelder,Inc. <br /> A N,ision of San Joaquin County Health Care Service. <br />
