R&S Dairy 24065 E.Arthur Road Escalon, CA 95320 June 28, 2019 Christine Lawrence San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 1868 East Hazelton Ave. Stockton, CA 95205-6232 Regarding: Return to Compliance Certification, R&S Dairy This letter is in response to the Notice to Comply received from your office dated June 17, 2019 as a result of the inspection that occurred at the R &S Dairy on May 31, 2019.The following is a summary of the corrective actions that have been made in regard to violations listed in the inspection report. • Violation Item#2—A submission to CERS was completed and approved on 6/7/2019 in which updates were made to the Business Activities Section and Hazardous Material Inventory. A Site Map was also uploaded and approved in CERS. • Violation Item#4—Corrections were made on site to the Business Activities Section of CERS • Violation Item#5—Corrections were made on site to the Business Activities Section of CERS • Violation Item#6—A submission to CERS was completed and approved on 6/7/2019 in which a Site Map was also uploaded and approved in CERS. • Violation Items#7—An Emergency Response/Contingency Plan was created for R &S Dairy which lists Johnny Silva as the emergency coordinator.The subject plan was uploaded to CERS and approved on 6/7/2019.The plan is posted in the dairy office located in the Milk Barn. • Violation Item#8-On 6/18/209 a training was held at the dairy facility to train employees who handle hazardous waste on the R &S Dairy.Topics listed in the Emergency Response/ Contingency Plan were covered in the training.A Safety Training Record of Attendance was completed and signed by employees.The Safety Training Record of Attendance is posted in the dairy office located in the Milk Barn.An Emergency Response/Contingency Plan was created for R&S Dairy which lists Johnny Silva as the emergency coordinator.The subject plan was uploaded to CERS and approved on 6/7/2019.The plan is posted in the dairy office located in the Milk Barn. • Violation Item#11-On 6/18/209 a training was held at the dairy facility to train employees who handle hazardous waste on the R &S Dairy.Topics listed in the Emergency Response/ Contingency Plan were covered in the training.A Safety Training Record of Attendance was completed and signed by employees.The Safety Training Record of Attendance is posted in the dairy office located in the Milk Barn.An Emergency Response/Contingency Plan was created for R&S Dairy which lists Johnny Silva as the emergency coordinator.The subject plan was uploaded to CERS and approved on 6/7/2019.The plan is posted in the dairy office located in the Milk Barn.
