Groundwater samples SB4-W and
SB6-W contained detectable concentrations of benzene, -ethylbenzene, toluene, and TPHg.
Groundwater sample SB3-W contained low concentrations of benzene and TPHg. The
+ groundwater sample from boring SB5-W contained no detectable concentrations of TPHg,
BTEX, or oxygenate fuel additives. None of the groundwater samples contained detectable
L concentrations of oxygenate fuel additives although samples SB4-W and SB6-W had elevated
detection limits due to high concentrations of non-target compounds. Analytical results of
groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2.
5.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the analytical results of the soil samples, it is the judgment of ATC that the soil beneath
Yt P J g
the site appears to be impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons. Based on the analytical results of the
groundwater samples, it is the judgment of ATC that the groundwater beneath the site appears to
Lbe impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons. Additional investigation activities appear to be
necessary to delineate the vertical extent of petroleum. hydrocarbon impacted soil and the
r , horizontal extent of.petroleum hydrocarbon impacted groundwater.
L
' L
L
L
L
i
L
L
wA1 498 1\1 498 1\repods\psii.doc 4
L
