s lie 29 December 2000 AGE-NC Project No 96-0235 ' Page 4 of 8 26 LABORATORY ANALYSES OF SOIL SAMPLES 1 Selected soil samples were analyzed for • TPH-g and TPH-d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified, ' • Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons - BTEX in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and Oxygenated compounds - DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, and TBA in accordance with EPA ' Method 8260-Modified I2 7 MONITORING WELL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES On 02 August 2000, monitoring wells MW-1 lA through MW-13B, ground water extraction wells ' EW-1 and EW-2 and in-situ air sparguig well AS-I were developed utilizing a stainless steel hand bailer and a two-stage submersible pump ' . Ground water was purged from each monitoring well until ground water was visually sediment free, approximately 15 to 120 gallons of water were removed from each well Purged ground water was ' containerized in properly labeled D O T -approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and was stored on- site in an area lacking public access Field sheets and data are included in Appendix A 2 8 ' MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES Ground water sampling of the above referenced wells was conducted on 1 I August 2000 The wells were purged and ground water samples were collected and analyzed following the procedures ' described in Sections 2 1 and 2 2 -2 9 SURVEYING The casing elevation of each new well installed during the July 2000 investigation was surveyed relative to the City of Stockton Bench Mark Datum. BM #184 On 02 August 2000, a California state-licensed survey engineer from Baumbach& Piazza, Inc surveyed a reference point on the top of each ground water monitoring well casing at the site to the nearest 0 01-foot relative to the City of Stockton Bench Marks and Description at 11 44 feet above mean sea level (msl) The results of the monitonng well survey are contained in Table 1 The surveying report (Baumbach & Piazza) is . presented in Appendix E I Advanced GeoEnvironmentei,Ine I
