s <br /> lie 29 December 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0235 <br />' Page 4 of 8 <br /> 26 LABORATORY ANALYSES OF SOIL SAMPLES <br /> 1 <br /> Selected soil samples were analyzed for <br /> • TPH-g and TPH-d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified, <br />' • Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons - BTEX in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> Oxygenated compounds - DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, and TBA in accordance with EPA <br />' Method 8260-Modified <br /> I2 7 MONITORING WELL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES <br /> On 02 August 2000, monitoring wells MW-1 lA through MW-13B, ground water extraction wells <br />' EW-1 and EW-2 and in-situ air sparguig well AS-I were developed utilizing a stainless steel hand <br /> bailer and a two-stage submersible pump <br />' . Ground water was purged from each monitoring well until ground water was visually sediment free, <br /> approximately 15 to 120 gallons of water were removed from each well Purged ground water was <br />' containerized in properly labeled D O T -approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and was stored on- <br /> site in an area lacking public access Field sheets and data are included in Appendix A <br /> 2 8 ' MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> Ground water sampling of the above referenced wells was conducted on 1 I August 2000 The wells <br /> were purged and ground water samples were collected and analyzed following the procedures <br />' described in Sections 2 1 and 2 2 <br /> -2 9 SURVEYING <br /> The casing elevation of each new well installed during the July 2000 investigation was surveyed <br /> relative to the City of Stockton Bench Mark Datum. BM #184 On 02 August 2000, a California <br /> state-licensed survey engineer from Baumbach& Piazza, Inc surveyed a reference point on the top <br /> of each ground water monitoring well casing at the site to the nearest 0 01-foot relative to the City <br /> of Stockton Bench Marks and Description at 11 44 feet above mean sea level (msl) The results of <br /> the monitonng well survey are contained in Table 1 The surveying report (Baumbach & Piazza) is <br /> . presented in Appendix E <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentei,Ine <br /> I <br />
