INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Tina Mayhew of West Clay Properties, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 639 West Clay Street, Stockton, <br /> California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure I Structures,well and boring <br />' locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This quarterly report has been prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />' Control Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> Background information is summarized in Quarterly Monitoring Report and Data Summary - <br /> December 1997 and Quarterly Report- October 1999, both prepared by AGE <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) and CVRWQCB guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and <br /> tinvestigating UST sites <br /> Eight single-completed and five dual-completed ground water monitoring wells and two ground <br />' water extraction wells were purged and sampled on 28 May 2002 Ten of the wells(MW-4,MW-5, <br /> MW-6A, MW-7, MW-8A, MW-10, MW-11A, MW-12A, MW-13A and EWA) were shallow- <br /> screened wells, screened from approximately 10 to 35 feet below surface grade (bsg) Eight wells <br />' - (MW-1,MW-2,MW-6B,MW-813,MW-9,MW-I 1B,MW-12B and MW-13B)were deep-screened <br /> wells,screened from approximately 40 to 60 feet Two wells(MW-3 and EW-2)were intermediate- <br /> screened wells, screened between 30 and 50 feet <br /> On 05 June 2002, purge water generated during previous monitoring events was disposed from the ' <br />' site by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 28 May 2002 a Solinst water level meter was used to,measure the depth to ground water in the <br />' twenty wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> determined from these data(Table 1) <br />' After recording water level measurements, each of the twenty wells was purged of standing water <br /> by utilizing a down-hole pump or a dedicated disposable plastic bailer Between 6 and 60 gallons <br /> . of water were removed from each of the wells(a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well) For <br />' Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
