Unknown <br /> Other organic-based 2roducts (MTBE) 170 ugh <br /> The primary hazards of each are identified as follows <br /> 1 Hydrocarbon fuels - Components of fuels are colorless liquids with strong aromatic <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-like odors They are flammable and have low solubility in water <br /> Exposure to these materials in excess of recommended exposure limits can cause mild eye, <br /> nose, and throat irritation and can produce a narcotic effect on the central nervous system <br /> Symptoms of exposure at these concentrations include headache, nausea, drowsiness, <br /> dizziness,and loss of coordination Certain components of gasoline(BTE&X etc ) are known <br /> or suspected carcinogens <br /> The additional potential hazards include Shp-trip-fall hazards, open excavation, noise, heavy_ <br /> equipment (.i e , Drill Rig) vibration hazards, traffic hazards, etc <br /> Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
