Ms. Sandi Sarale `"
16500,Clifton Court Rd.
Page 2 oft
MW-1 and MW-3; tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME) has consistently been detected
in samples from MW-3. The lead scavenger 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) has
been commonly detected in samples from MW-1;,-MW-3-and MW-4.- Tert-butyl
alcohol (TBA) has been detected in samples from MW-1 during the last. two
monitoring events. TPH-g, benzene, MTBE and 1,2-DCA concentrations exceed
the maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) for these substances in drinking water.
AGE concludes that neither impacted soil nor ground water has been fully
delineated and recommends preparation of a work plan addendum to complete
the characterization of the site and the contaminants. EHD concurs with this
recommendation and directs you to have a work plan addendum prepared to
complete the vertical and lateral assessment of impacted soil and ground water
on your site. Please submit the work plan addendum to this office by
18 September 2004.
Questions or comments may be directed to the undersigned at (209) 468-3436.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Nuel C.
