(AGE)has prepared
this Soil Vapor Intrusion Work Plan Addendum for the site located at 16500 Clifton Court
Road, Stockton, California. The addendum provides updated procedures for the collection
of on-site soil-vapor samples based on comments provided by the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD), by letter dated 30 October 2012
(Appendix A). The work plan has been prepared in accordance with California
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Department of Toxic Substances Control Los
Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Regional Water Quality
Control Board, Advisory Active Soil Gas Investigations, dated April 2012.
In the, No FurtherAction Required Report Addendum and Soil Vapor intrusion Work Plan-
August 2012, dated 17 August 2012, AGE proposed to advance three shallow borings at
the subject site for collection of soil-vapor samples. This addendum provides several
updated procedures for collection of the proposed vapor samples in accordance with the
referenced advisory and comments provided by SJCEHD in the above referenced letter.
The site location is illustrated in Figure 1. A detailed site plan showing the proposed boring
locations are illustrated in Figure 2.
SOIL-VAPOR SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
AGE proposes to advance three soil-vapor probe borings to evaluate the potential threat
for intrusion of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil-vapor to indoor air. Shallow soil
samples collected during the UST removal at depths less than five feet below surface
grade [(bsg) (line and dispenser samples)] justify shallow soil-vapor evaluation.
