Advanced _
GeoEnvironmental, Inc .
15 August 2006 RECO ll E D
AGE-NC Project No. 01-0887 AUG 1 7 2006
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
Mr. Nuel Henderson, Jr. PERMIT/SERVICES
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
304 East Weber Avenue, 3`1 Floor
Stockton, California 95202
Subject: Additional Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan Addendum
SARALE FARMS
16500 Clifton Court Road, Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Henderson:
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the enclosed work plan addendum for the
above-referenced address. The scope of work detailed in the AGE-prepared Additional Monitoring
Well Installation Work Plan, subsequently modified in the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD) letter dated 14 April 2006 (Appendix A), included the installation,
development, and survey of four additional on-site ground water monitoring wells screened from
20 feet to 25 feet below surface grade(bsg)and one on-site ground water monitoring well screened
from 50 feet to 55 feet bsg. The work is being performed for further delineation of the vertical and
lateral extents of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water in the area of the former
underground storage tank(UST),fuel dispenser, and associated piping.AGE would like to make the
following addition to the proposed scope of work:
• Installation, development, and survey of one additional ground water monitoring well,
screened from 5 feet to 20 feet bsg, approximately 65 feet north of monitoring well MW-1
on the south side of West Clifton Court Road. Soil samples will be collected every 5 feet,
beginning at 5 feet bsg, and prepared and analyzed in accordance with procedures outlined
in the Additional Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan.
AGE believes that the proposed well is necessary to define and monitor the dissolved hydrocarbon
plume's northern boundary. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site,
including soil borings and existing and proposed monitoring well locations,is illustrated on Figure 2.
337 Shaw load. Stockton.
