INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Ms. Sandi Sarale of Sarale Farms, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has <br /> prepared the enclosed Additional Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan for the property located <br /> at 16500 Clifton Court Road,Stockton,California(site).The scope of work includes the installation, <br /> development, and survey of five additional ground water monitoring wells for vertical and lateral <br /> delineations of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water in the area of the former <br /> underground storage tank (UST), fuel dispenser, and associated piping. The location of the site is <br /> illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site, including soil borings and existing and proposed <br /> monitoring well locations, is illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information, including a <br /> i. summary of site assessment activities to date and a hydrogeologic model for the site, is included in <br /> Appendix A. <br /> r` <br /> This work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) by letter dated 08 February 2006 (Appendix B). The purpose of the work is to <br /> assess the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water in lower portion of <br /> Hydrogeologic Unit 2(HU2),and to monitor impacted ground water in the upper sand unit of HU4, <br /> near the suspected contaminant source area.This work plan is in accordance with the Central Valley <br /> IL. Regional Water Quality Control Board's (CVRWQCB's) Appendix A to Tri-Regional <br /> Recommendations - Reporting, for the investigation of UST sites. <br /> rr <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work is to assess the vertical and lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil <br /> and ground water at the site. The assessment includes the following tasks: <br /> `" • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Pilot drilling and soil sample collection; <br /> • Monitoring well installation and development; <br /> ' • Laboratory analysis of soil samples; <br /> • Quarterly ground water sampling and analysis; and <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings. <br /> 16M <br /> off Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
