This
was done so that the ground water table gradient could be
determined. The writer constructed three point diagrams to j
determine the groundwater gradient at this site. Diagrams were
constructed to determine site conditions on 12/03 and 12/21/87.
Diagrams were not constructed for conditions on 11/05/87 because
the aquifer , had not had time to recover from drilling
disturbance, so precise water table measurements were not
possible.
The graphic solution of the three point problems is shown on
t`:e accompanying work.sheets.This analysis shows that the ground
water tab1E gradient is to the northwest at 0. 14 ft. of drop
7Pr 100 ft. of plan distance, on 12/03/87. The ground water
_,.'ila gradient has changed to the northeast at 0. 25 ft. of drop .
per 100 ft. of pian distance on 12/21/87. This is probably
dire to increased recharge coming into the ground water system
from the west of the site
Th= above represents my best professional opinion as to :`:•e
urfi c:al geologic and shallow ground water conditi.nr:s
t!r- l `_tr
e is site.
