A black steel drum of spent absorbent was observed in the shop with an accumulation start date of <br /> September 20, 2010. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do <br /> not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by November 11, 2012. <br /> Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (305, 703) <br /> 305. Fire extinguishers have not had routine annual maintenance inspections. One fire extinguisher in <br /> the shop was observed with a date of July 8, 2010; another was observed in the shop with a date of <br /> December 15, 2008 and a gauge reading of"recharge." All facility communications, alarm systems, fire <br /> protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment shall be tested and <br /> maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately have all <br /> necessary inspections and service completed for all fire extinguishing equipment at this facility, and <br /> ensure proper maintenance is conducted in the future. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector.
