Spills That Have Not Reached Surface Waters <br /> If spill is above RCC, CERCLA or EPA Reportable Quantity (RQ): <br /> 1. Call the National Response Center at 1-800-424-8802. State as follows: <br /> a. This is a spill report. <br /> b. Give your name and the company name. <br /> C. Give location of spill (Name of city and state.) <br /> d. Describe nature of spill, type of product, estimate size of spill and provide RQ. If <br /> accurate, note that "It is believed" that the spill has not and may not reach <br /> surface waters. <br /> e. Describe type of action taken thus far, type of assistance or equipment needed. <br /> 2. Contact the California State Warning Center (Cal OES Warning Center) at (800) <br /> 852-7550 or (916) 845-8911. <br /> Be prepared to provide the type of material, quantity, and the potential for soil or <br /> groundwater impact. State any contact you have had with non-company personnel, <br /> reporting you have done, or believe may be appropriate, response and corrective actions <br /> taken, and resources that may be required. <br /> 3.
