CHRONOLOGY <br /> 10848 COPPEROPOLIS, STOCKTON <br /> March 5, 1993 <br /> Two leaded gasoline USTs were removed under PHS/EHD permit and observation from <br /> the above referenced site. Laboratory results from soil samples collected beneath the <br /> USTs at a depth of 7.5 feet below grade evidenced contamination <br /> March 7, 1994 <br /> PHS/EHD sent a letter notifying the owner/operator of the USTs tv at corrective action <br /> was necessary at this site. <br /> August 24, 1995 <br /> The site was placed in the Local Oversight Program (LOP). <br /> October 11, 1995 <br /> A Notice of Reimbursement letter was sent to the property owner, Stockton Mortgage, <br /> stating the site was in the LOP and a Work Plan for Preliminary Si:e Assessment <br /> prepared by Upgradient Environmental was approved by PHS/EH I <br /> October 31, 1995 <br /> Overexcavation of contaminated soils occurred in the location of the former USTs to a <br /> depth of 11 feet below grade and a soil sample was collected at 1 feet below grade. <br /> Soil sample analytical results from this area evidenced increased evels of petroleum <br /> contamination. <br /> February 23, 1996 <br /> PHS/EHD letter directing Wisecarver to perform further investigati a work by March 15, <br /> 1996. <br /> May 2, 1996 <br /> State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund (SWRCB) sent Janet Wisecarver a <br /> letter requesting tax forms and other information needed in order for her to qualify for <br /> Cleanup funds for the site. <br /> March 31, 1997 <br /> Janet Wisecarver was notified by the SWRCB Cleanup Fund that her claim was <br /> disapproved because the requested tax information had not been submitted. <br /> June 17, 1998 <br /> A Notice of Responsibility letter was sent to the Poelstra Family Trust and Jee Family <br /> Trust in care of Stockton Mortgage. A Notice of Responsibility sent to Janet Wisecarver <br /> was returned. <br /> August 26, 1998 <br /> Margaret Lagorio (PHS/EHD) discussed with Charles Hastings (Wisecarver's Attorney) <br /> that further work was necessary at the site and recommended having Wisecarver <br /> cooperate with other responsible parties and provide Cleanup Fuad informational <br /> requirements. <br /> 1 <br />
