(RFS) is pleased to present this report of the soil
investigation of the abandoned underground storage tank (UST) excavation at Sprint's Stockton
Switch Facility located at 3807 Coronado Avenue in Stockton, California. The soil investigation
consisted of advancing four soil boreholes in the area of the backfilled UST excavation, sampling
of the native soils surrounding and beneath the UST excavation, laboratory analysis of the soil
t
samples, and the preparation of this report documenting the sampling.
Based upon the results of this investigation, the soil and ground water conditions at the site, and
the placement of pavement at the ground surface in the abandoned UST pit area, RES concludes
that no further investigation or remediation of the UST site is necessary. A copy of this report
shall be submitted by RES to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental
Health Division for review. Please contact me at 510 222-7810 if you have any questions or
comments regarding this report.
4
Sincerely,
RIEDEL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC.
Christopher .
