Box 2009 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> RE: Cintra Group Property, 1325 North Corral Hollow Road, Tracy, California <br /> Site Code 9294 <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> This letter is in response to your correspondence regarding the above referenced site dated <br /> February 4, 1993. On behalf of our.client, Cintra Group L.P., RESNA Industries (RESNA) <br /> requests that oversight for this project remain. at the County level wind that RESNA's <br /> recommendation for no further action at this site be evaluated. The basis for this request is <br /> three-fold: 1) results of the recent subsurface investigation, 2) recent conversations with the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and 3) future development of <br /> the site. These items are discussed below. <br /> SUNEMURY OF VeMTIGATION <br /> The results of the recent subsurface investigation performed at the site (RF.SNA Industries, <br /> January 1993) can be summarized as follows: <br /> • No known contamination or sources of potential impact have existed on the subject <br /> property. <br /> • The abandoned oil pipeline which runs beneath the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of- <br /> way, located approximately 100 feet south of the subject site has been documented to be <br /> the source for other petroleum hydrocarbon impacted sites in the vicinity of the subject <br /> property. This :pipeline is a regional environmental concern. <br /> • No impact by petroleum hydrocarbons as oil and grease, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, <br /> or xylenes, to soil at the site has occurred as a result of the abandoned pipeline. <br /> • It appears that very low levels of tWuene (13 ppb , ethylbenzene (3.4 ppb), and xylenes <br /> sro21M.ML <br />
