for
WORK AGREEMENT
Robert Barenchi
R&B Trucking
Page: 2
Submitted with this work agreement is a proposed budget. Any additional or unusual
work, requiring a change in the work plan, would need Client approval before this work
could commence. It should be noted that if unusual circumstances occur during the
performance of the work plan additional expenses may be incurred. Every effort will be
made to keep the client informed of such difficulties as the work progresses. A 15%
contingency cost was added to the budget to cover possible delays or unforeseen
difficulties in the field work.
Geological Technics will keep the Client informed of the investigation results as the
study progresses. If the Client needs to alter the course of study, ramifications of the
alteration would be investigated and discussed before any changes could be made.
Typically there are three aspects to billing for an investigation, the costs of drilling,
lab analysis, and consulting and project managing(Geological Technics).
The Client will make progressive payments to Geological Technics during the course of
the project. Billings are at the end of natural breaks during the project(e.g.,after
submitting proposal, after completing field work, after completion of lab analysis, and
upon completion of report). Terms of billing are n/14. A deposit is desired and may be
necessary before certain aspects of the work can commence. If payment is not made
within the term period, a monthly finance charge of 2% will be charged on all past due
accounts. In order to insure that your costs are kept to a minimum the final report will
be submitted to the regulatory agency upon receipt of final payment. You will however,
receive a draft copy immediately upon completion of the report for your perusal.
Subcontractors used during the investigation and billed through Geological Technics
will be billed out at an additional 15% to cover administrative costs. The client in some
cases will have the option of paying the subcontractors direct and avoiding the
additional administrative cost.
This agreement was reached on _ q
-- r
_/✓L,4I Ay
L 1 4
Raynold I Kablanow II, Ph.D. Robert Barenchi
Geological Technics R&B Trucking
RIK:dmc
