This facility produces over 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste per month and does not have a valid EPA ID number. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store,dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous waste,then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web site hftps:Hdtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/for the form to apply for an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. This is a minor violation. 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. In the maintenance area, one gallon 5 plastic bucket containing metal fines(full)had a 12/26/2017 accumulation start date and one 5 gallon plastic bucket containing metal fines(1/2 full)was missing an accumulation start date. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of the two 5 gallon buckets containing metal shavings and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD.
