' 4 KLEINFELDER
r5 ANALYTICAL RESULTS
5.1 SOIL SAMPLING ANALYTICAL RESULTS
iThe analytical results are summarized on attached Tables 1, 2 and 3. The following is a
■ summary of the number, types of samples and requested analyses submitted from the
Dry Well, AST, Race Track and Debris Areas.
5.1.1. Dry Well Areas
A total of six soil samples were submitted for analyses from pushprobe locations P1
through P5, located adjacent to five reported dry wells. One discrete soil sample was
submitted from each location except pushprobe P3 in which two soil samples were
submitted for analyses. A total of six soil samples from the dry well locations were
submitted for the following analyses:
' . Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (Gasoline Range) [TPH-G] by EPA
Method 8015DRO
' . Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (Diesel and Motor Oil Range) [TPH-
D/MO] by EPA Method 8015M/DHS LUFT
Volatile Organics by EPA Method 8260 including Benzene, Toluene,
Ethylbenzene, Xylenes [BTEX] and 5 Oxygenates.
' . Total Lead by EPA Methods
Total Recoverable Extractable Hydrocarbons (TRPH) by EPA Method 418.1
• Heavy Metals including, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury,
selenium and silver by EPA Methods.
In addition to the metals analytes/suite of analyses listed above pushprobe location P3
(@25') was also analyzed for:
Semi-Volatile Organics by EPA Method 8270
In summary, of the suite of analytes sampled for only heavy metals were detected
above reporting limits. The metals arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead and
selenium were detected above laboratory reporting limits.
