Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH): EPA Methods 5030/8015 and <br /> 5030/8020 to analyze for gasoline in liquid or soil, EPA Method 3510/8015 <br /> for diesel in liquid, and EPA Method 3540/8015 for diesel in soil. <br /> 5. Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TRPH): EPA Methods <br /> 9070A/418.1 for liquid and EPA Methods 9071A/418.1 for soil. As of <br /> 10/1/92 EPA Methods 9071A/418.1 will be replaced by EPA Methods <br /> 3560/8440.
