r
Ms. Lagorio )/0
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Department Environmental Health Division
Fran Bean from our office asked you earlier about getting permitting for the 99 Speedway
project. I have since had a interview with the owner and plan on visiting the site this
week. At present the main issues are two dry wells and a debris area. We would like to
advance at least one boring beside each dry well. We will likely use a backhoe in the
debris area. The analyses in the dry well areas will likely be heavy metals, VOCs and
SVOCs. I doubt we will be able to drill next Monday at this late date, our fall back date
in for July 6, 2005. After this week I will have a better idea of a specific scope of work if
needed for permitting. Thanks
Doug Heard, P.G.
Senior Geologist
