en viros
October 22, 1997
Mr. Michael Infurna
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Environmental Health Division
P.O. Box 388
Stockton,California 95201
Re: Site Investigation Work Plan - Addendum
Former Shell Service Station
1265 - 1267 Country Club Blvd.
Stockton,California
Dear Mr.Infuma:
This work plan addendum has been prepared by Enviros,Inc. (Enviros)on behalf of Shell
Oil Products Company in response San Joaquin County Public Health Services' (SJCPHS)
request to provide additional information pertaining to construction of the ground water
monitoring wells proposed in our October 1, 1997 Work Plan.
The proposed well construction is described on the attached Plate 1. Well screen will be
placed approximately 10 feet above and 10 feet below first encountered ground water.
During previous site investigation activities performed in April 1997,ground water was
encountered at depths ranging from 19 to 33 feet below grade(fbg),and stabilized at
depths of 13 to 16 feet below grade. Ground water will be allowed to stabilize in the well
boring prior to placement of the well screen. It is anticipated that stabilized ground water
depths will be located approximately 20 fbg during upcoming investigation activities.
If you have any questions regarding the scope of work outlined in this work plan,
,it . .mz1i t 6`3
call.
EaJ4sI KIMEN BMd.` EA 11 IN
t
Enviros,Inc., ;,04 E.
