Oil 11192 IN REPLY REFER TO SITE CODE: 1995-123
1403 Country Club
Stockton, CA 95204
We have reviewed the Phase I Site Assessment (Preliminary
Assessment Report - PAR) dated June, 1990. Four (4) monitoring
wells were installed and sampled to assess the potential
groundwater contamination. Benzene (33 parts per billion (ppb) ) ,
ethyl benzene (2. Oppb) , total xylenes (1.5ppb) , and total petroleum
hydrocarbons (200ppb) were detected in monitoring well #3 .
Sampling analysis from MW#1 also indicates that groundwater
contamination is present.
A work plan to define the extent of groundwater contamination
should be submitted by February 15, 1990. Also due by February 15,
1990 is a second quarterly monitoring report as outlined in Section
2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank Regulations. These reports
are to show the:
-status of investigation and cleanup activities
including the results of all investigations
completed to date;
-proposed continuing or next phase of investigation;
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented,
schedules for the completion of the investigation
of the site and remediation;
-monitoring well data including groundwater
elevation, pH, conductivity, gradient;
-analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling;
and
-a site map showing the "zero line" of
contamination, if known, and changes in the above
measurements over the last quarter.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services 0
