The CUF
concurred with the EHD that active remediation of the site should continue.
At this time it is planned to,continue with the batch groundwater extraction and ozone injection.
The EHD has recently approved'a work plan to install onsite and offsite cone penetrometer
testing (CPT) borings to complete the vertical and lateral assessment of impacted media. It is
anticipated that upon evaluation of the data, the consultant will have recommendations
regarding the most cost-effective remediation method for the site and the need for any
additional monitoring wells. Questions or comments should be directed to Mike Infurna at (209).
468-3454 or to Nuel Henderson at (209)468-3436.
Sincere'y,
44
Michael J.
