The - health and safety guidelines for this project are based on sample results from -- previous investigations. Activities conducted during this operation shall be performed to protect the health and safety of project personnel and the public. The following health and safety program includes health and safety training, medical surveillance, personnel protection program, decontamination procedures, and general safe work practices. The health and safety plan also addresses procedures for injuries, fire, and spills, The Health and Safety Plan complies with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. This plan is in accordance with the following IT Health and Safety Policies and Procedures: 4 ITC 9000 Safety Policy ITC 9001 Respiratory Protection Devices - Wearer Fit IT Policy ITC 9020.1A Accident Prevention Program - Inspection and Analysis ITC 9020.2 Accident Prevention Program - Safety inspection ITC 90301A Employee and Contractor Training Requirements ITC 9410,10 Preemployment Medical Examinations ITC 9410.28 Periodic/Update Medical Examinations ITC 9532.9A Excavation and Trenching ITC 9552.A Hazard Communication Program ITC 9561.0 Respiratory Protective Devices ITC 9571 Fire Safety ITC 9591.1 Health and Safety Rules for Contractors ITC 9650 Hearing Conservation Program. These policies and their implementation are central to IT'S accident preven- tion program. The provisions of this pian are mandatory for all IT personnel and subcon- tractors assigned to the project.
