Analysis <br /> of the samples by GC/FID revealed ;moderately high levels of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbains on the site and chromatogram signatures <br /> confirmed the presence of gasoline. Map patterns, concentration <br /> gradients and chromatographic data suggest that gasoline entered <br /> the subsurface on the eastern side of the pump is and subse- <br /> quently migrated northeasterly toward Pershing Avenue.
