Personnel may however be exposed to short term vapor concentrations <br /> approaching 100 ppm. Respiratory protection plans will be directed to <br /> protecting personnel from these transient exposures. <br /> V.3.2 Drilling Activities <br /> Various safety hazards are present during drilling and boring procedures. <br /> - ---electrical hazards due to overhead and underground utility line <br /> ---excessive noise <br /> -confined space <br /> ---moving portions of the drill rig <br /> ---falling of heavy overhead objects <br /> ---fall hazards due to working at heights. <br /> V.4 SITE CONTROL <br /> A site map has been attached to this plan. The areas where drilling will <br /> occur, will be on the site, and will be barricaded to prevent unauthorized <br /> access. Only authorized personnel shall be allowed on site. Any unauthorized <br /> visitors must remain outside the barricaded area. <br /> The site is small enough that normal voice communication cifn be used. In the <br /> vicinity of the operating drill rig, common hand signals w';11 be used. <br /> M TRAINING <br /> IT Personnel <br /> All IT project personnel shall have completed 40 hours of offsite health and41 <br /> ';, <br /> 1 .. <br /> safety training, related to hazardous waste operations.
