Napper, RG. <br /> STATUS: APPROVED <br /> ADEQUATE AND NECESSARY ELEMENTS OF THE WORK PLAN_jH&S <br /> 25299.37, subd(c)(3)1: <br /> Conduct soil over-excavation and groundwater infiltration <br /> dewatering in center of soil/groundwater petroleum contaminated <br /> plume and, <br /> Pretreat pumped groundwater thru sediment tank and pass thru <br /> activated carbon units prior to discharge to City of Stockton sewer <br /> system under permit while protecting storm water system and, <br /> Collect bottom and sidewall confirmation soil samples once full <br /> extent of over-excavation is reached, install horizontal air sparging <br /> casing in aquifer at bottom of excavation, cover with pea gravel <br /> backfill to 6' bgs, cover gravel with 'silt-screen', and 'plumb' with <br /> vertical connections for future connection to SVEIIAS system and, <br /> Install one horizontal vapor extraction well casing in vadose zone <br /> just above gravel covered horizontal air sparge casing, cover with <br /> gravel and top with geofabric, 'plumb' it vertically to surface for <br /> future hook up to SVEIIAS system and <br /> • Contain excavated soils in 1' deep, lined, bermed, sanded onsite <br /> drain Feld until characterized and accepted for offsite disposal at <br /> approved facility and, <br /> Analyze soil and groundwater samples for TPHg, BTEX, MtBE 1,2- <br /> DCA, Lead, DIPE, TAME, TBA, EtBE, methanol, ethanol, and, <br /> Submit report of findings to EHD. <br />
