The Fund will review this site next year to <br /> track progress. <br /> UPDATED, March 2009, this site has been under investigation or cleanup for nearly 20 years. <br /> The Fund continues to recommend that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the Responsible <br /> Party to more aggressively remediate this site to achieve Water Quality Objectives more rapidly. <br /> The Fund will review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, March 2010, this site has been under investigation for 21 years. The Fund <br /> recommends this site be considered for closure. <br /> UPDATED, February 2011, the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP review <br /> this site for closure. <br /> UPDATED, January 2012, source area monitoring well MW-10 has historically had elevated <br /> concentrations of residual hydrocarbons in groundwater. However, after 18 years of monitoring <br /> and source removal, the groundwater plume is shrinking in size and concentration. Analytical <br /> data indicate that WQOs have been achieved in off site wells. Groundwater within the source <br /> area will likely remain above WQOs for years to decades. The affected shallow groundwater is <br /> not used as a source of water supply nor is it likely to be used as a source of water supply in the <br /> foreseeable future. Water users in the vicinity of the site rely on a public water supply. Based <br /> on facts in the record and hydrologic and geologic conditions at the site, the limited residual <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons that remain in soil and groundwater pose a low risk to human health, <br /> safety and the environment.
