Discharge of all flow to the sanitary sewer shall automatically and immediately cease upon the occurrence of a lower <br /> explosive limit meter reading equal to or greater than 10%. Pemuttee shall sample for total petroleum hydrocarbons, <br /> benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, and MTBE immediately after- a lower explosive limit reading,equal to or greater <br /> than 10%. These samples shall be in addition to regularly scheduled self-monitoring samples. Permittee shall notify the <br /> City of Stockton Environmental Control section prior to resurning discharge to the sanitary sewer. <br /> Permittee shall insure that all collection, handling, preservation, and laboratory analysis of samples is performed in <br /> accordance with 40 CFR Part 136 (copy attached),unless otherwise specified in the monitoring conditions of this permit. <br /> Permittee shall perform a quality assurance program,as specified in the City of Stockton,Department of Municipal Utilities, <br /> "Quality Assurance Manual for Self-Monitored Industries" (copy attached). <br /> Permittee shall have all flow and lower explosive limit monitoring equipment calibrated and certified by a licensed technician <br /> prior to initial discharge and then at a minimum frequency of once per six months.All documentation relating to monitoring <br /> equipment calibration and certification shall be included in the self-monitoring report for the month in which it was <br /> performed. <br /> Permittee shall not tamper with, obstruct, disconnect,or bypass any monitoring equipment used to determine compliance <br /> with any condition contained within this permit. Permittee shall report to the City of Stockton Environmental Control <br /> section within 24 hours of becoming aware of any interruption or malfunction of monitoring equipment required by this <br /> permit. <br /> Permittee shall report all permit violations to the City of Stockton Environmental Control section within 24 hours of <br /> becoming aware of such violations. <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
