Please include EPA Method 8260 for the seven gasoline
additives/oxygenates on the list given to you at the hearing along with the required
constituents previously analyzed for using Methods 8015m and 8020. Monitoring
reports shall be submitted to PHS-EHD by the 30'hof the month following the quarter's
end. You will need to coordinate the sampling dates with your environmental
consultant to ensure that adequate time for laboratory analyses-and report preparation
is provided and still have the report to PHS-EHD by the end of the month. Failure to
comply with this agreement will place your site in non-compliance and jeopardize your
ability to become or remain eligible for State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB)
Cleanup Fund Reimbursement.
In addition, PHS-EHD requires you to submit a workplan to delineate the soil and
groundwater plumes at and around your site. This workplan and a well permit
application should be submitted to PHS-EHD by October 1, 1997.
Additional requirements were included in the Office Hearing Agreement you signed at
the hearing. Compliance to that agreement is required to remain eligible for the
SWRCB Cleanup Fund. A Letter of Acceptance issued by the SWRCB, in addition to
the $10,000 (CD) held in security,is necessary for you to meet the financial
responsibility requirements for the active underground tanks and to investigate and
clean up the site.
