The latter two are only slightly above the reporting limit of 0.5 ppb. <br /> These hydrocarbons are gasoline constituents and probably had the same source as the other <br /> contaminants, but their distribution cannot be mapped because none of the Chevron wells were <br /> analyzed for these compounds. <br /> As requested by CVRWQCB, all samples were also analyzed for ethylene dibromide and total <br /> lead. Neither was present above the detection limit. <br /> In summary, the February 2002 laboratory results confirm our expectations that hydrocarbon <br /> concentrations will continue to decline as a result of natural attenuation and active remediation at <br /> the former Chevron site, and support our previous conclusion that further action at the Kwikee <br /> site is unnecessary. We fully expect that the data that we collect during the second quarter of <br /> 2002 will add further support to those conclusions. <br /> F <br /> 1 2 <br />
