f
be required to adequately delineate the extent of groundwater contamination, but dri.Iing must
be delayed until adequate funding is available. At the present time, we hope to drill t iese wells
in early June 1999 and submit the Second Quarter Report in early July.
® The depth has risen several inches in both KF-1 and KF-2, but has dropped slightly- in KF-3.
This is unusual, and casts suspicion on the depth measurement in KF-3. As this well is out in
the traffic lane of the parking lot and is close to the area that was excavated and then backfilled,
it is possible that the well casing has been damaged or that there has been some settling and
subsidence of the ground since the last monitoring event. Upgradient recommends re-surveying
the well at the time of the next monitoring event to check for changes in the casing el.-vation of
this well.
4
