It is my understanding that William Marlin, <br /> who represents the Gills ' , also disputes the contentions of <br /> Chevron as set forth in the above referred to letter. <br /> It has already been brought to your attention that BB&C has <br /> filed a lawsuit in San Joaquin County Superior Court against <br /> Chevron and a subsequent operator of the station who leased the <br /> station for only several months, namely Arthur Berberian, et al. <br /> v. Standard Oil Co. , et al, being proceedings no. 227146. <br /> In addition, the report of Chevron has been submitted to our <br /> expert, J.V. Lowney & Associates, for their response. However, <br /> since we just recently received the analysis we have not been <br /> able to obtain a response. <br />
