I
Mike Infurna [EH ]
From : Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Friday, March 26 , 2010 9 : 37 AM
To : 'Myers, Tonya'
Cc : 'Evans, David '
Subject: RE: WP or Chevron 94054
#2 It Is .
no revision or addendum needed . I 'll add conditions to my approval letter that will
call out ONLY neat cement grout for the cc and the PVC casings and augers to be
left in place during the 'flush -treaded ' cc is installed to ensure a minimum 2" neat
cement grout annulus .
start working on your SJ County Public Works encroachment permit requirements
please . Lets see if we can get these wells before Christmas .
btw, you included bioparameter data collection in this workplan over the next two
semi-annual periods and then submit the IRAP and you plan to include these two
wells in this ? Were you looking for EHD 'approval ' to do this ? I am required to
address all inclusions in a work plan as 'adequate and necessary' and typically ,
things included and approved in a work plan must be included in the report of
findings when the work plan field work is completed . Ideally, if the work plan is
approved , then ALL things approved are to be in the report. With two SA events
proposed in the work plan , that puts completion of this inclusion into 2011 or later,
depending if these wells are included and get installed in 2010? Am I going to
have to wait a full year + to see the report of these two well installs? not ideal .
if you want approval for the bioparameter, it can be requested in the Semi Annual
Monitoring Reports (SAMR ) recommendation section . I 'd rather not see these long
range remediation requests included in an investigation work plan if you can help
it. I don 't have a real comfortable feeling about how this is adequate or necessary or
how it is done . You ' ll need to send me details and a technical justification for it . I
will NOT include it as approved in my work plan comment letter but defer a review
until after I receive your justification and details about it.
From : Myers, Tonya [mailto :Tonya. Myers@arcadis-us.com]
Sent: Friday, March 26, 2010 8 : 55 AM
To : Mike Infurna [EH ]
Subject: RE : WP or Chevron 94054
Let's go with number 2 and I will make sure that the field crew has the e-mail chains between you and I
3/29/2010
