Following collection, samples are appropriately labeled, placed on ice <br /> and kept in a cooler until delivered to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories(CTEL), a State <br /> of California Department of Public Health-certified analytical laboratory, for analysis. The <br /> samples are analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with <br /> EPA Method 8015 Modified and <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethyl-benzene and total xylenes (BTEX), the fuel additives <br /> tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME)and 1,2-dichloroethane(1,2-DCA)in accordance <br /> with EPA Method 82608. <br /> EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION <br /> Any non-disposable equipment used for sample collection is thoroughly rinsed with clean <br /> water after being washed with a solution of Alconox. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
