Closure Summary Report Yellow Cab Company 2210 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Closure Summary Report (CSR) for 2210 Country Club Boulevard(the site), Stockton, California at the request of Mr. Tom Daniels of Yellow Cab Company. The location of the site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1;major features on the site and soil probe boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2. The Closure Summary Report was prepared in accordance with the guidelines of both the San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the closure of underground storage tank (UST) sites. 2.0. BACKGROUND The site is located at 2210 Country Club Boulevard, on the south side of Country Club Boulevard, approximately 1,000 feet east of California State Highway 5 in a topographically flat area of Stockton,California(Figure 1). The site is further described as being located in the southwest quarter of Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987). 2.1. SITE DESCRIPTION — AGE has been informed that the site area was formerly utilized as a storage and maintenance yard for a taxi-cab company(Yellow Cab Company). 2.2. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL AGE has been informed that one 2,000-gallon UST was removed from the site on 01 July 1992. Laboratory analysis of soil samples collected from beneath both ends of the tank detected total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) and volatile aromatics(benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes: BTEX). Field notes of a representative of the PHS-EHD recorded petroleum odor and discoloration in soil at both ends of the tank at approximately 13 feet below site grade (bsg). 2.3. PRELIMINARY SITE INVESTIGATION On 06 March 1998, three soil borings (P-1, P-2 and P-3) were advanced at the site to maximum Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
